Never before has the accurate estimation of parking demand so profoundly affected the economics of downtowns and development projects. As early as 1984, LMG’s principals were on the forefront of parking demand estimation techniques, through shared parking, true demand measurement and verification, and modeling techniques to test the sensitivity of demand against rates. Our parking study clients include the City of West Palm Beach CRA, the City of Pompano Beach CRA, the Cities of Manchester and Dover, NH, the Miami Parking Authority, the Lansing Township DDA, and Adventist Healthcare.
PARKING ECONOMICS
Parking is now universally viewed as infrastructure, with granular revenue streams and predictable demand. LMG’s foundation practice is financial feasibility for bond issues, and has grown into
advisory services for investors. Clients include Wachovia Securities, Fortress Investments, The Carlyle Group, Northeastern Security Development Corp, The University of South Carolina, The City of Columbia, and the City of Charlottesville.
PLANNING
As members of the Planning Team, LMG brings global experience from the largest scale conceptual projects like Putrajaya (the new capital of Malaysia), to site specific long term campus plans. Our services range from development of Transportation Demand Management strategies to determining both short- and long-term capital needs.
